With this initiative intending to create closer ties between Chinese and Canadian citizens, it is expected that Ontario will see an influx of Chinese travelers.

“Understanding the importance of offering the Chinese traveler an easy way to pay, we have made it simple for our Attractions Ontario members to offer wireless smart payment terminals from the largest Alipay and WeChat Pay provider in Canada,” says Troy Young, Chief Executive Officer of Attractions Ontario. “We encourage all our attraction members to get on board with this initiative and welcome the Chinese traveler to experience and enjoy what Ontario has to offer with ease.”
